Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE – general elastomer solutions)

Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) are engineering materials that combine rubber-like elastic properties with the processability of thermoplastics. Thanks to their elastomer structures, which provide flexibility, impact resistance, and comfort, they are widely used in many industries, from automotive to footwear, from cables to consumer products.

TPEs can be processed using standard thermoplastic processes such as injection, extrusion, and blow molding without requiring vulcanization. This feature provides both cost and time advantages in production processes.

Key Properties of TPEs

Rubber-like high elasticity

Ease of processing similar to thermoplastics

Recyclable structure

Wide Shore range from low to high hardness

Good impact and abrasion resistance

Good adhesion to different surfaces (overmolding compatibility)
