What is POLY-MAR?
POLY-MAR is a series of high-performance adhesives and sealants developed by Fratelli Zucchini, specifically designed for marine and industrial applications. This series is known for its MS Polymer-based products and prioritizes environmental friendliness and user safety thanks to its solvent- and isocyanate-free formulations. POLY-MAR products stand out for their high elasticity, fast curing, and excellent resistance to UV and weather conditions, making them ideal for a variety of professional applications.
Fratelli Zucchini’s POLY-MAR series consists of high-performance adhesives and sealants. The main products in this series and their applications are listed below:
MS 935: A single-component, easy-to-use adhesive. It contains no solvents or isocyanates and does not shrink or contract. Its high elasticity supports thermal expansion and adheres well to many surfaces.
MS 945: A single-component, fast-curing sealant based on MS polymer. It exhibits excellent resistance to UV rays, does not yellow, and does not crack. There is almost no shrinkage after curing.
MS 950: A high-performance adhesive and sealant. It cures quickly and is easy to use. It offers high tensile strength and excellent resistance to mechanical stress. It adheres well to most materials without a primer and exhibits excellent resistance to UV rays.
MS 952: A fast-curing, easy-to-use mastic. Provides excellent adhesion to materials such as mineral glass, fiberglass, steel, and anodized aluminum. Compatible with most industrial paints and exhibits excellent resistance to UV rays.
MS 953: A fire-resistant adhesive and sealant mastic. It is resistant to high temperatures and fire. It creates a strong bond between different materials and maintains its performance even under harsh conditions.
MS 955: A sealant with high elasticity and adhesion properties. It provides a flexible bond between different materials and is ideal for use in vibrating areas.
MS 960: A mastic with high viscosity and initial adhesion. It exhibits almost no shrinkage and maintains its permanent elasticity between -40°C and +120°C. It should be used with a darkening primer on uncoated glass and offers excellent resistance to UV rays.
